Can the cable for the SR50A be extended by an end user without data loss? And if possible, what is the maximum length it can be by using a similar wire gauge?
The maximum length for SDI-12 communication with that sensor is 200ft. The communication is digital, so you don't introduce measurement errors splicing cable. It would be best to run cables to a junction box, and join them with a terminal strip. The A150-L would work in this situation.
