Is it possible to update the OS of a CS655 without the A200 interface?
IE using a logger like interface to PC?

The A200 is the most convenient method, but not the only one. The A200 is a USB to RS232 adapter and provides 12V power.
You can use a different RS232 port, as long as you get the wires to the correct transmit and receive pins. A DB9 to terminal adapter is recommended for easy connection. A 12V power supply needs to be connected to the probe, and the power supply ground should be connected to the ground of the serial port.
