CR1000 internal battery

Makada Sep 27, 2022 06:31 AM

Hi,

I see the Tadiran TL5902 lithium internal battery is hard to get here in the Nederlands.

Ive found the Saft LS14250 battery is an alternative.

Is it OK tot use that or are there other alternatives like the Tadiran SL750 ?

With the kindest regards.

Hi,

I've found the same, being based in the UK. Turns out that TL5902 is the US Taridian part number. The same thing is SL570 in Europe.

Cheers,

A

H Artyb,

Do you mean SL750 or SL570?

With the kindest regards.

Ive heard the SL750 has 1.1 mAh.

But it need 1.2 mAh , which the Tadiran SL350 has.

SL750, sorry. Don't know about the total capacity. We've been using SL750.

OK.

I've been adviced by Campbell represent over here the SL750 isn't good because of the 1100mAh. Has to be 1200 mAh like the TL5902.

So I ordered the SL350.

I ordered both actually, they are very cheap.:)

Hi,

I've contacted Tadiran about this. Their descriptions of the different battery series could be clearer. They say that the SL750 is the equivalent of the US part Campbell recommend, but that the SL350 offers improved performance in this long-life low-current application. The SL750 website says that it's best used within 3 years of storage. So I'll start buying SL350 in future. Thanks for bringing this to my attention again.
