Loggerlink for Android can be a nice addition for our students when they are working in the field with the CR1000 dataloggers. Does loggerlink support the Bluetooth 4 ( BLE) modules. They are very low power so could stay on the RSport while not in use and users can communicate without opening the dataloggerbox.
BLE is not currently supported, but we are looking into it.
Terri, thanks for the information. Hope you can give it a try. Nowdays BLE on (budget) phones becomes more common so I think a lot users will appreciate it.
The problem with BLE is that, unlike SPP under the older Bluetooth protocol, there is not a single standard for performing serial communications with the device. As a result, there is not any device that I have seen on the market that offers serial communications using BLE protocol.
Is there any update on whether Logger Link will be able to communicate with a BLE serial adapter?
